I recommend any books in the hunger games series by Suzanne Collins. They should only be read by year 5 and up as they contain violence. It's about the future North America and how life is terrible there. Every year 24 boys and girls are put in an arena to fight to the death, for the whole country's amusement.

I would like to recommend "A Series of Unfourtunate Events" By Lemony Snickett. These books are ranged for kids ages 9-12. If you would rather prefer a much happier book, I guess this one's not for you. The first of the series is called " The Bad Beginning". I hope you enjoy the series.

I would recommend the books Flitterwig, Cleartheart and Scatterbungle by Edrei Cullen for people in years three and up. It's about a girl called Ella Montgomery who discovers she is a Flitterwig (part- human, part- magical). But she's no ordinary Flitterwig-she can do things no other Flitterwig can do...I loved this book because it makes you feel like you're in Ella's shoes. I just couldn't put it down

The book I would like to recommend is the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan. The books are about Percy Jackson, who is a demigod (which means he's half greek god, half human). In the books Percy is the son of greek god Posiedan. In the books Percy goes on adventures

I recommend The Three Doors Trilegy by Emily Rodda. They are The Golden Door, The Silver Door and The Wooden Door. I know they are long books to read, so I recommend these books to good year 3 readers. These books are about a boy trying to find his two brothers in the first two books. I have read the first two books and they were great.

I recommend the book Monstrum House, I find it very interesting because it is about a boy who goes to a school but it is no ordinary school. They teach you how to hunt monsters to keep the world safe. But the teachers are cruel and nasty.

I'm currently reading "The truth about Verity Sparks" by Susan Green. It was put on the young readers short list 2012 and I can see why. From the first chapter I was hooked. It's set in the streets of London1878. The book is about a 13 year old girl named Verity Sparks who has a special ability but you'll have to read the book to find out what it is. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mysterious detective books.

I recommend the once, then, now, next series by Morris Gleitzman because they are really interesting, funny but sad at the same time, and it shows what it was like back in the olden days and Morris Gleitzman's opinion on today and what she thinks the future will be like. The series is probsbly suitable for Year 6+ and really good year 5 readers.

In the last couple of weeks I've read ''The Magic Faraway Tree'' by Enid Blyton. I read this book because i was looking for an adventurous book to read. This book is about 3 city kids moving into the country. They find the Enchanted Wood. In the middle of the Enchanted Wood there is a magic tree. At the top there is a magic land. There are lots of magic people to meet. If you are in years 3 or 4 and you like adventures then you should read this book.

I am recommending the book series Diary of a wimpy kid by Jeff Kinney. It is a humorous, interesting and fun book to read. The series is made up of seven books and will soon become 8 on 5th November when the new book comes out. I would recommend this series for 7-75 yr olds. It is about a teen called Greg Heffley who has a challenging time in life. It is really interesting and I would recommend it for people who want to read a good book and enjoy it. :) Comments are closed.
